[Bug-dejagnu] dejagnu-1.4.2 build problems?

I'm running on a Solaris 8 system with gcc 2.95.2.

I'm trying to build the subject version of dejagnu to test a build of
gcc 3.0.3. The README and INSTALL instructions seem contradictory to
me. The former directs me to use a configure command which specifies a
"MYHOSTTYPE", while the latter suggests just using a configure
command. I opted for the latter.

However, while configure seems to run without error, the make doesn't
seem to do anything.

Am I missing something?

I've created a simple web page which has links to the output from
the both the configure and make commands:

    www.cs.unca.edu/~benites/dejagnu

Am I doing anything wrong?
