  Sorry this took so long,. some of my DejaGnu email got "lost" when I had
some DNS poroblems. Anyway, I tried using GCC 3.0.3, as obtained from HP 
on HPUX 11.i (on a J6700), and got none of the errors you mentioned. I don't
have a 10.20 machine to test against. Are you still having the same 
problems ? You might try making sure GCC 3 is in your path *before*
configuring, as there are a few configure time tests that are compiler
version dependant.
