Hello bug-dejagnu readers,
in tthis thread on bug-automake,
<http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.sysutils.automake.bugs/5230/focus=5464>
an inconsistency is pointed out in how we pass the various srcdir values
to dejagnu.
<http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.sysutils.automake.bugs/5230/focus=5231>
states a few advantages and disadvantages of using absolute vs relative
values.
Do you have any helpful input on this?
Second, is there interest in making dejagnu work in environments where
the absolute names of source and build trees contain spaces, but the
(then-relative) $(srcdir) value does not?
Thanks,
Ralf
