To clear things up a bit: I am indeed not involved with the findutils
apart from being a GNU maintainer. But the GNU project's policy is
to rate and handle the applications as a whole.
Please also submit your answers in any case by modifying your application,
so the other people that don't read bug-findutils can see it, too.

That seems sensible to me.
