Findutils folks,

You may have noticed that the public git repository was recently
restored from backup (see
I have now checked the Savannah git repository against my own local
repository. I did indeed need to (re-)push a few commits. I can
confirm that all branches on the Savannah repo are up-to-date with
respect to my own local git repository.

However, if you have also made a commit to the Savannah repository
within the last ~6 weeks, you may find that commit is now missing.
You can use the following command to visualise all the local commits
which don't appear on Savannah:-

gitk --all --not $(git ls-remote origin | awk '{print $1}')

Please note though that the resulting display will also include any
local branches that you didn't plan to push to the Savannah repo.
