Several distros are using 4.5.* since years, so it doesn't make much
sense to me to lose energy on maintaining the older branch.  Most of
the open bugs have been there in the older version already, so declaring
the latest and greatest as stable doesn't worsen anything for anybody,
and only helps distros with more formally restrictive policies.

As of now, there are only 2 bugs marked as "blocker"; however, I'd not
consider them as such - one of them is even marked as a document bug.

Therefore, let's move on:
