That's exactly what I'm using right now. However, it's either one clumsy shell 
script, with awk code included, or two files, with awk code, pretty big in this 
case, stored n a separate file.

Anyway, all I really wanted was some sort of a confirmation ("it's an expected 
behaviour", "nothing can be done", etc), and I got it.
