It comes and goes, which is a clear indication of a race condition.

Easiest if you use osc (https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:OSC) to do a
local build of
<https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:Andreas_Schwab:Factory/gawk>.
The error happens while building on Factory aka Tumbleweed.
