Follow-up Comment #2, bug #56383 (project gettext):
Thanks for the pointer.
The commit you linked to was present in appstream-glib since version 0.7.10
(released last year), but all GNOME apps still don't have release notes
translated.
I've just double-checked on my system (Fedora 30), where I have
libappstream-glib 0.7.15. When I generate the pot file of a GNOME app (such as
Geary) using Meson <id>-pot target, I can't find any string about the
releases.
Who is to blame?
