I noticed this comment on

automatic, uses LANG, but ignores LC_MESSAGES and LC_ALL
I suggest to change it to this, to mention it also ignore the LANGUAGE
environment variable:
automatic, uses LANG, but ignores LC_MESSAGES, LC_ALL and LANGUAGE.
