I tried your suggestion but it didn't work:


% gforth % ./configure CC=/usr/local/bin/gcc-14

checking for gcc... /usr/local/bin/gcc-14

checking whether the C compiler works... no

configure: error: in '/Users/a/gforth':

configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

See 'config.log' for more details


And running 'homebrew' did not enter into temp environment in my case.

This looks hopeless.

I will try continue learning with VFX Forth, I was able to install it.
