gs for pdf creating

hello list,
I've looked for a substitution for the pdf-writer that comes with Adobe's 
Acrobat Package.
Now I've successfully created pdf-files with gs, redmon and ps2pdf.
The wish I have is the user should be able to select the destination and the 
name for the outputfile.
Please give me a hint, how can I generate the filename for the gs-call with a 
fileselector box?
