segementation fault with gs 7.07.1-r2

I am using ghostscript 7.07.1-r2
Kernel 2.6.2 on Gentoo 2004.0
gcc 3.2.2

Since I installed Scribus ghostscript crashes when I do a 'gs' in the Terminal.

I get:

Speicherzugriffsfehler

I can not print anymore with CUPS and I can also not convert any .ps Files to 
.pdf with ps2pdf.

Any help and hints are greatly appreciated.
