Page rotation with GS 8.51

I'm working on an batch printing application and am using GS to spool PDF files to a ledger-capable laser printer (LaserJet 5000N) using the command-line interface on Windows.

The syntax "gswin32c -sDEVICE=mswinpr2 -sOutputFile="%printer%<printername>" -sPAPERSIZE=(ledger/letter) filename.pdf" is successful for 11x17 PDF files.

The problem I am having is that letter size PDFs are being printed in the incorrect orientation on the paper and I can't figure out how to rotate them with Ghostscript.

Ideally I would like to not use mswinpr2 at all and instead convert to PS first using the pswrite switch for DEVICE and then spool using LPR. This is because the PS files seem to be a lot more compact (about 25% the size) of the file that mswinpr2 spools over the network.

Any and all help is appreciated!
