Hi developers...
I have a general question about installing locales...
During the installation of glibc for our LFS
(http://www.linuxfromscratch.org) we do in chapter 5 "Installing glibc"
the following:
make install_root=$LFS localedata/install-locales
As far as I understand the Makefile this installs all known locales,
later we do a "localedef -i en_US -f ISO-8859-1 en_US" in chapter 6
"Setting up locale" (or similar - for your desired country...)
Now we are wondering if the second localedef is necessary or not...
Balu
