ldconfig problem in glibc-2.2

Subject: ldconfig problem in glibc-2.2

I've tried to track down this problem and can't find the source so I
thought I'd submit a bug report.

The ldconfig command in the new glibc-2.2 seems to work but always
produces the following message:

ldconfig: Can't stat .2
