Hi
I'm not sure, but I think I should send here a question and a patch
for gettext right?
Today I received a patch for GNU Typist (a program I maintain), which
includes a patch for po/Makefile.in.in (a Makefile of GNU gettext).
The patch is attached.
What follows is a piece of the email of the person who sent me such patch.

As I install almost every program with RPM, I had to create a spec file
for GNU typist. I have also modified po/Makefile.in.in so it can accept
DESTDIR (which is also a Debian convention).
...
--------------
Do you recommend me to apply this patch in that Makefile.in.in of
gettext?
Do you think it is a good patch that could be applied to the general
Makefile.in.in of any project that uses GNU gettext?
Best regards!
