undefined reference to atexit

Hi!

Since 2.2.x I have problems with libutil that cannot reference atexit.
This only happens with OpenSSH, so I first tried to solve the problem
with this team. They couldn't. Now I tried GNOME2 and found that
libgnomecanvas includes libm which cannot reference to atexit too. I
updated to glibc-2.2.5 but with no effect. What's wrong, what can I do
or try?

Please, I want GNOME2 :)
