Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how a program (let say, made for Linux) can
resolve, at execution, the entries points of kernel functions. It seems
that Glibc, or Libc is in charge of doingb that and i guess it use a
similar mecanism as for libdl when resolving the entries points of
fucntion of e newly loaded module, but I have read the source code of
Glibc and was not able to find this mecanism.
It's clear that a program is not staticaly linked with the kernel it
depends on, and so, I would understand the low level mecanisms.
Could someone explain me how this is done, or tell me where to find this
information ?
Thank you very much.
Seb
