Hi All-
I'm trying to build glibc for my RH9 system. I've done a successful build,
but it seems that none of the version-specific symbols appear in the shared
libraries. For example,
objdump -t /tmp_install/lib/libc.so.6|grep GLIBC_2.2
comes up empty. Querying the current library results in many symbols. I'm
anticipating that this will not be a workable glibc on my system since many
apps. link to specific versions...
How does one configure the glibc build to enable support of these various
versions? I can see that there is a Versions.def file, but it doesn't seem to
be having any effect...
Thanks.
