Using global with Clearcase Vobs

I'm trying to use global in Clearcase vobs and it
doesn't seem to find all the files. I have files in
different vobs

Consider the following 3 VOBS
/vob/a
/vob/b
/vob/c

inside the /vob/a, there are links to the other vobs.
When I run global under /vob/a, it doesn't seem to
pick up files from other vobs.

So, is there a way to give a list of files to global
instead of it searching through all the
sub-directories?
