How about rewriting all function definitions ANSI C-style?

The reason is like follows:
o ANSI C compiler can be used in most environments recently.
o ANSI C-style function definition is preferable.
o Since the material concerning K&R is a little, young people
  might be confused with it.
o A part of code has already been written in ANSI-C style.

Therefore, I think that we need not stick to K&R any longer.
If your agreement is obtained, I'll do the job.
