Unable to view Problem reports after attaching files

Hello,

Using Gnats 3.113 and Gnatsweb 2.7  we are getting an error and cannot view Problem Reports with file attachments.  The error in the Gnatsweb is:   Software error:

Modification of a read-only value attempted at /home/httpd/cgi-bin/gnatsweb.pl line 259, <SOCK> line 185.

I researched the Gnats Archives and found the recommended fix below from Yngve at http://sources.redhat.com/ml/gnats-devel/2001-q1/msg00087.html.  However,  I can find no such line that contains  "addLineToPR..." in pr.c.

Is this a permissions issue with a read-only value and the application trying to write to a SOCK file?  Or is it really pr.c that needs fixing?  If it is the problem in pr.c,  please explain again how and where that file should be edited.  Or is upgrading to Gnats4 a viable option now?
