If somebody does not submit a biography, I must say I will doubt the
veracity of their data. While all of us have areas of expertise, few of
us are truly competent enough in an area to write an article without
some amount of research. The research also allows a contributor to check
their understanding of an account with other's and find possible
disagreements. If you are doing proper, solid, research you will ALREADY
have a list to cite.

If you have not, I already feel there is grounds to question the
article. Spreading false information is worse than spreading no
knowledge at all.
