Patches for CVS gnuchess (especially a Linux/PPC fix)

Hi,

after being a bit annoyed about the Debian package of gnuchess (it
contains this 100MB book.pgn, dpkg-buildpackage tries to build book.dat
out of it, and the executable does not even work on PPC), I had a look at
the code. I checked out the current CVS source and discovered that
gcc-2.95.4 with optimization -O2 screws up completely on src/move.c. I
have a fix for this, some other code cleanups, and effectively converted
the build system to automake/autoconf. The complete patch thus got quite
large, but this is mainly due to converting this build system, which I
really considered necessary. Well, part of the reasons is that I put some
files at places where the FSF expects them, so that automake does not
always complain. (So please tell me if there are any reasons not to switch
to automake.) So please have a look at the patch or the complete tarball
in

Note that I have not yet added any support for building that novak target
because the source files are simply missing from the CVS archive. However,
it would be easy to add some optional target there.

Best regards,
Lukas
