Committed to CVS today.
Have also incremented version number, to motivate us all, and
started on ANALYZE command, which is going well (as far as I
have got).
Anyone have strong opinions on how parsing command line options
should be implemented, as I rashly promised to get at least
"--help", and "--version" in for 5.06?
Otherwise I will try following the GNU way, by the time honoured
method of RTFM.
I assume we aim for precedence of;
Input > Command line option > .rcfile (a patch has been
promised but we'll see) > default
Anything else that MUST go on the command line option for 5.06,
I was thinking maybe hash memory settings ought to go in, as we
want a bigger default hash with pondering, and possibly
EASY/HARD, as we default to hard but that may eat all the CPU.
Simon, dead impressed with Lukas's pondering stuff for his
first attempt at using POSIX threads.
