emacsclient needs a man page, like debian's:

       This manual page documents briefly the emacsclient com-
       mand. This manual page was written for the Debian
       GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does
       not have a manual page. Instead, it has documentation in
       the GNU Info format[...]

       This manual page was written by Stephane Bortzmeyer
       <bortzmeyer@debian.org>, for the Debian GNU/Linux system
       (but may be used by others). [<---hint hint]

By the way, there are e-lisp programs that herd backup.~111~ files
into special directories. They should be made part of official emacs
and documented in File: emacs, Node: Backup. I learned my lesson
today when I did

$ pstree

I will therefore install one of those packages shortly while hoping
the next emacs version comes equipped with one, perhaps even enabled
as the default or whatever.
