core dumped on emacs 20.7.1

From: aseem_asthan
Subject: core dumped on emacs 20.7.1
Date: Mon, 20 Aug 2001 14:10:26 -0700 (PDT)

This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.

In GNU Emacs 20.7.1 (sparc-sun-solaris2.8, X toolkit)
of Tue Feb 13 2001 on hoosier

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

Can't really say what I was doing with emacs when the core happened.
However, if it helps, I had three different emacs windows, with one of
them running emacs-server. Please note, that I had three different
emacs processes and not three frames.
The stack trace of the core looks as follows,

I have the core. If that will help you, please let me know and I will
send it to you. Running Gnome as the window manager and emacs was
started from a gnome shortcut, becase of which gnome logged me out. I
can't reproduce it since I don't recall what I was doing at that time,
however, if this happens very infrequently, it can turn to a nuisance.

If there is any more input required from me, please let me know.

Thanks for looking into this, and thanks a lot for the excellent
editor.

Regards,

Aseem.
