I wondering if anyone knows of or has written a patch for
Emacs 20 (or 21) process.c that allows one to access unix
domain sockets from elisp, just as one can access IP sockets
with `open-network-process'.

[This would be useful for example for connecting to a
cannaserver (Japanese input system) listening only on a unix
domain socket for security reasons with tamago (egg).]

If you know of any such patch, please let me know.

Thanks, Jens
