Thanks for your reply! I am constantly astounded how easy it is to be
completely misunderstood when talking of software, even with a patch.
I will say it again and this time I will try to be as more clear.
First, here is the fix...

The easiest way to add properties to your document is by using the Text
Properties menu. You can get to this menu in two ways: from the Edit
-menu in the menu bar, or with @kbd{C-Mouse-2} (hold the @key{CTRL} key
-and press the middle mouse button).
+menu in the menu bar (@kbd{M-` e t} or @kbd{F10 e t}, @pxref{Menu Bar})
+or with @kbd{C-Mouse-2} (hold the @key{CTRL} key and press the middle
+mouse button).

...as published, the node _Editing Format Information_ is just plain false,
in and of itself. This proposed fix above makes it true.

There are five menu items listed at the botton of that same node
which are described nowhere else. They lack keyboard commands.
If this fix is still not obvious, I will send more later.

                Cheers

PS: previous message follows for continuity,
sorry about the total non-communication.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what feature are you talking about.
Is it about the chapter "Editing Formatted Text" which describes
Enriched Text Mode and related features? If so, the section "Faces in
Formatted Text" documents keyboard commands such as "M-g b" and "M-g i"
which don't need the mouse.

The very next section describes the keyboard way (mentioned above).
Perhaps all that is missing is to say that the reader should look in
the next section for the other way".
