I highlighted a line of text in an exterm and was unable to paste it
into the shell buffer using control-y.
It works when I try it. So the problem must depend on something about
your environment--perhaps something in your X configuration. If you
can find out precisely what it is that makes the problem happen, maybe
we can debug it.
