This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.

In GNU Emacs 20.6.1 (sparc-sun-solaris2.6, X toolkit)
of Fri Mar 3 2000 on iris
configured using `configure --with-gcc --with-pop --with-x-toolkit=lucid
--bindir=/usr/local/bin --libexecdir=/usr/local/libexec'

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

The y-or-n-p produces a dialog box if last-nonmenu-event is nil.

However, when I use the window system behavior
"point-in-window-to-make-active" (as opposed to "click-in-window...")
the resulting behavior is less nice. The box comes up nicely, but
as soon as I try to approach it with the mouse, the box lowers itself
behind the current frame and gets invisible (or perhaps I should say
that the selected frame raises itself by the mouse motion?)

Is there anything I can do in the elisp code to prevent this
"auto-lowering" behavior, or am I not supposed to use emacs with a
window system set to "point-in-window-to-make-active"?

(According to the "style manager - window" box, one can turn off the
"raise-window-when-made-active" switch, but to do this seems rather
weird, since, as far as I understand, you lose the whole point with
the "point-in-window-to-make-active"-setting.)

(Im using a CDE window system on a sun sparc machine.)
