No, this is a different problem - if you don't need mule-ucs, just 
apt-get remove that package. The /etc/mailname thing results in a 
(sit-for 3) call - it'll only cause a 3 second delay (although it's 
still annoying).

Q: Why did the tachyon cross the road? 
A: Because it was on the other side.
