I type
M-x fill-region
I wish that when I later type C-x ESC ESC I will again see
(fill-region)
And not say
(fill-region 13 952 nil)
which is not what I typed, and also not exactly relevant anymore.
We resolved this with M-% I recall. Maybe your fix covers this too.
I'm not sure, as I still use the emacs version debian woody comes
with, as seen in my headers.
But wait, if I edit the (fill-region 13 952 nil) I see to become just
(fill-region), then I get a wrong number of arguments error. So more
work needs to be done.
By the way, fill-paragraph should act on all the paragraphs in the
region, but I guess it's too late to change that. Then you wouldn't
need fill-region. Hmm, there's pros & cons. Never mind.
