Hello.
I seem to be having problems building recent Emacs CVS against DJGPP CVS. The
problem is that I can't bootstrap, because byte-compiling the elisp files
fails due to a unsatisfied reference to 'set-fontset-font' in
lisp/term/x-win.el.
'set-fontset-font' is defined in src/fontset.c, which is not compiled in in
the DJGPP build. I tried modifying src/Makefile.in to include it, but that
failed, because 'struct face' has no font member for non-X-Windows builds like
DJGPP.
I compared lisp/term/x-win.el from CVS with that from some Emacs 21.0.98
sources I had lying around at it seems that the requirement on the fontset
module used to be conditional:

(require 'select)
(require 'menu-bar)
-(if (fboundp 'new-fontset)
- (require 'fontset))

(Note that I've trimmed the diff to show only one chunk.)
I couldn't see anything in ChangeLog about the changes.
Any help would be appreciated. Please CC me on reply, because I'm not
subscribed to bug-gnu-emacs.
Thanks, bye, Rich =]
