insert-file rude upon getting directory

Ok, I was wrong, I tried to insert a directory with insert-file.

But you didn't have to start with the insults* and visual bells.

You could have kindly reminded me it was a directory and asked me to
go on and add a filename.

Instead I was penalized to start all over.

*"insert-file: Opening input file: file is a directory,
 ~/jidanni.org/abj/" duh. I knew that. I created it. You don't have to
 rub it in.
