No, my file,
begin 644 bad.txt
it turned out, wasn't perfect unicode.
Well, I still think emacs should be more comforting in telling the
user what is bothering it, instead of just shuttering its windows like
my file was a SARS patient, of by the way I hear plenty on my
ambulance scanner radio.
