This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.

Your bug report will be posted to the address@hidden mailing list,
and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group.

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

I have the following code in my .emacs startup:
        (if use-separate-frame
            (progn
              (setq resize-minibuffer-frame t)
              (setq x-pointer-shape x-pointer-left-ptr)

              (setq minibuffer-auto-raise t)
              (defadvice message (after message activate)
                (raise-minibuffer-frame))
              (defadvice y-or-n-p (before y-or-n-p activate)
                (raise-minibuffer-frame))
              ;; isearch mode stuff
              (add-hook 'isearch-mode-hook 'raise-minibuffer-frame)
; (add-hook 'isearch-mode-end-hook 'lower-minibuffer-frame)

              (add-hook 'minibuffer-setup-hook 'raise-minibuffer-frame)
; (add-hook 'minibuffer-exit-hook 'lower-minibuffer-frame)
              ))

It always used to work, now it does not always work.
