--- Begin Message ---Subject: Conf[Xdefaults] mode vs. continuation lines Date: Thu, 22 May 2008 02:13:49 +0800 In conf-mode.el: Some files allow continuation lines, either with a backslash at the end of line, or by indenting the next line (further). These constructs cannot currently be recognized. Because of this great variety of nuances, which are often not even clearly specified, please don't expect it to get every file quite right. Patches that clearly identify some special case, without breaking the general ones, are welcome. Well, all I know is that in $ emacs -Q .Xresources only the first line of this !*VT100.font: -arphic-ar pl uming \ tw-light-r-normal--17-120-100-100-c-0-iso10646-1 shows up in comment color, whereas experiments prove that, unlike bash, both lines are in fact comments. No patch, just letting you know.
