Hi,
The NEWS file (as displayed by C-h n) talks about 62 bits integers
instead of 64 bits:
** There is a new configure option --with-wide-int.
With it, Emacs integers typically have 62 bits, even on 32-bit machines.
In GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.22.0)
of 2011-08-22 on dfontaine-laptop, modified by Debian
(emacs-snapshot package, version 1:20110821-1+ubuntu1)
Regards,
