bug#9843: 24.0.90; nnimap/gnus: add option to disable creating log buffers

When sendig an email with gnus a bunch of log buffers are always
created:

*nnimap imap.gmail.com 993 *nntpd* (not sure where is created)
*imap log* (nnimap-send-command always calls nnimap-log-command)
*gnus trace* (gnus-backend-trace is always set to t)

Can we add (an) option(s) to enable/disable logging?
