bug#27535: 25.2; mime messages ignore rmail-show-message-verbose-min

From: Ken Olum
Subject: bug#27535: 25.2; mime messages ignore rmail-show-message-verbose-min
Date: Thu, 29 Jun 2017 16:01:16 -0400

The variable rmail-show-message-verbose-min is supposed to be a lower
limit on the size of messages for which there will be a progress report
when the message is displayed. However, if the message has mime headers
(as most messages today do) rmail always gives the progress report.

I suggest deleting the second copy of

              (setq showing-message t)
              (message "Showing message %d..." msg)

in rmail-show-message-1. Or if there is some reason that progress
reports should be handled differently in case of mime messages, there
should be some other variable to control that behavior, rather than
doing it always.
