For that example url I gave, I have in M-x list-processes:

resources.bl... --      open    --              --           (network 
connection to resources.blogblog.com)
www.blogger.com --      open    --              --           (network 
connection to www.blogger.com)
www.mostlyma... --      open    --              --           (network 
connection to www.mostlymaths.net)
