In a gnus summary buffer, hide all threads `T H`.  A search via `M-s` for an
arbitrary search term yields the ominous and enigmatic "Hiding the thread
moved us backwards, aborting!"

Subject: [PATCH] Avoid a 2011 hack that begs off an infinite loop

`gnus-summary-position-point' moves point before the hidden
thread thus breaking an assumption that `gnus-summary-hide-thread'
would only ever move the point forward.
* lisp/gnus/gnus-sum.el (gnus-summary-hide-thread):
Jump past invisible thread instead of begging off with an out-of-band
diagnostic.
