bug#44484: 28.0.50; Ending double quote gets font-lock-warning-face in s

From: Mauro Aranda
Subject: bug#44484: 28.0.50; Ending double quote gets font-lock-warning-face in some docstrings
Date: Fri, 6 Nov 2020 11:48:17 -0300

emacs -Q
C-h f kill-line RET
Follow the link to simple.el
Look for the end of the docstring for kill-line and note that the
ending " gets font-lock-warning-face.

Alternatively, copy this into the *scratch* buffer:
(defun foo ()
  "Some docstring.

(Note that it ends in the
next line.)"
  (ignore))

Again, the ending double quote gets font-lock-warning-face.

It looks like any docstring that ends with a ) that expands for more
than one line gets the ending " character fontified with
font-lock-warning-face.
