Thanks for your reply. However, I could not find anything helpful on the
webpages you gave me. So I followed this:

In any case, I find it contradictory that the compilation of Emacs reports on
the one hand "checking libgccjit.h usability… yes,” and on the other hand
"Installed libgccjit has failed passing the smoke test."
