Big problem.
If a file triggers
------
The local variables list in Makefile
contains values that may not be safe (*).
Do you want to apply it? You can type
y -- to apply the local variables list.
n -- to ignore the local variables list.
! -- to apply the local variables list, and permanently mark these
values (*) as safe (in the future, they will be set automatically.)
------
one simply types one of y,n,! . No problem...
unless one used emacsclient to open that file.
In that case one's y,n,! are being sent to the shell,
as can be seen from the hollow prompt there in emacs.
