The other bits in PRINTFINISH aren't done, though, are they?  For
instance, the

   if (free_print_buffer)                                               \
     {                                                                  \
       xfree (print_buffer);                                            \
       print_buffer = 0;                                                \
     }                                                                  \

bits might lead to a memory leak.
