Although it won't solve this problem, I think Yelp should be added to the
dependency list so it is checked in ./configure.
This can't be checked by configure, since configure can only inspect
properties of the build environment. It could possibly be checked by
the make install target, but then it wouldn't know if yelp was
installed/uninstalled at a later date.
Right, but I guess most users will use PSPP in the environment where they build it too.
In the end, the best option I
believe is simply to let psppire popup an eror message if it's not
available when it needs it.
This is a nice solution which won't cost to much time to program I guess.
But we can mention the requirement in the release notes.
That is always a good idea. But how many users read the release notes.....
