I disagree.

Customize the font of the application is essential when working on a software similar to a spreadsheet. Also do not think it's better to have to change the system font to improve the display of content by using PSPP.

"Typically I work with a monospaced font, as I find the most logical use when setting numerical fixed column widths, and is a bit inconvenient to have to change the font preferences every time I open a new file."

As mentioned "Hugo Alejandro", some users opt to use monospaced fonts for better adapt to the options offered by PSPP or a font that fits better numerical content vs label content.

In any case, remove the option to configure the fonts would be a negative for PSPP.
